That's what most would think when I tell them about my 10 'four-legged' children, all different species. I start with my animals because they are a huge part of my life. I have two dogs; Chloe Lynn & Raven. My six cats; Gordo, Kitty, Raja, Junior, wallace, and Leona, the pot belly pig, Molly Ana, and the horse, Kadeem.
I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's in Biology. I'm hoping to return to school soon, my goal to one day add Doctor to the beginning of my name (PHd not MD). I did my internship at Zoo Miami, where I worked with all kinds of exotic animals from Rhinos to warthogs to tapirs. I didn't get to work with primates, and since that is something that interests me I decided to get a job at Monkey Jungle in Homestead. I got to work and train, gibbons, spider monkeys, and mandrills to name only a few.
You might be wondering how that route brought me in front of you, well I wanted to be a teacher but wanted real life experiences to bring back to the classroom. For the short amount of time, I believe I have many things to share and will continue to learn and grow right along with each and every one of you.
